Comprehensive Education Plan (CEP) Goals
2023-2024
Priority 1: All students learn to read well.
By June 2024, using iReady Benchmark Assessment data, Standardized Assessment Students with Disabilities in grades 3-5, will Increase their phonics/decoding skills 50%, from 25% of students to 75% of students as indicated by our EOY Benchmark Assessment data.
By June 2024, Students with Disabilities participating in Alternate Assessment, using SANDI ELA Benchmark assessment data, from 30% of students to 80% of students, show they are "making progress" in 6 out of 8 reading foundation skills.
Priority 2: All students are physically and emotionally safe.
By June 2024, using the SWIS data generated through PBIS, ALL Students with Disabilities (SWD) will Decrease the recidivism rate by 25%, from 50% to 25% of students repeating major misbehaviors leading to dean's room referrals or out of class administrative action.
Priority 3: All students have a high-quality academic experience.
By June 2024, evidenced by the Danielson Framework Domain 3, student engagement and student voice will increase by 50%, from 25% of students to 75% of students.
Priority 4: All students graduate college and career ready and have a strong plan and pathway to economic security.
By June 2024, for Students with Disabilities, attendance will Increase 5%, from 80% to 85%, as measured by RYNA Monthly Report.
Priority 5: All districts and schools are more inclusive and responsive for parents and families, including having more families choose NYC public schools.
By June 2024, using the insight beta report, students who are considered chronically absent will decrease from 67% of students to 30% of students.
Quality Individualized Education Program (IEP)
By June, 2024, to strengthen the quality and implementation of IEPs for All Students with Disabilities (SWD), we will increase student voice during iep meetings, by 30%, from 50% to 80%, as measured by IEP attendance page.
