The P169M community places empathy and kindness at the forefront of all we do, fostering a culture of collaboration, respect and high expectations. Our goal is to empower all P169M community members to reach their full academic and social emotional potential by intentionally strengthening the bonds between students, staff, and families, thereby creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all to learn and grow.
Mission Statement
The mission of P169M is to serve students and families from diverse backgrounds by providing data-driven academic and social-emotional instruction. We actively involve students, parents, staff, and school partners, recognizing that student voice and parent engagement are essential in supporting our vision. Guided by our core values of K.A.R.M.A. (Kind, Appropriate, Respectful, Mature, Accountable), we facilitate whole-class instruction, targeted foundational skills development, student-driven conversations, and reading strategies to enhance student progress and critical thinking, meeting learners where they are and providing them the instruction necessary to further enhance individual learning. Our goal is to cultivate lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and innovative, resilient citizens who find joy in learning. We believe that strong partnerships with families and the community are crucial in maximizing student potential and preparing them for successful transitions to rigorous and rewarding high schools and secondary opportunities.
